Structure of The Green Lion
“The Green Lion” is a brand name. Under this brand there are two independent umbrella companies:
- The Green Lion West
- The Green Lion East
Both are in general independent, follow their own strategy, manage their own finances. To a certain extent they coordinate marketing efforts and use one common IT infrastructure developed and maintained by the West team. Each of them operates some countries and works with a range of Franchisees for some other countries.
Main Characters
Patrick:
Dutch national, founder of The Green Lion. CEO for over a decade even though he strongly insists that he is only a shareholder, not a manager. Until his retirement he took care of Strategy, Marketing and IT.
Kantiya:
Patrick’s current wife. Registered director of the company. Until her retirement she took care of finance and operations. Commonly called by her nickname ‘Ae’.
Amarit:
Patrick’s son from another woman. Co-CEO of The Green Lion West since 2017. In charge of Business Development and Marketing. Commonly called by his nickname ‘Emile’
Antonia:
Name changed to protect her entity.
Ae’s daughter from another man. Co-CEO of The Green Lion from 2017 to 2020. In charge of Operations, Finance, IT and Media.
Sebastian:
Name changed to protect his identity.
Part of upper management. Worked under Emile until 2020 and was in charge of Marketing.
Leo:
Former The Green Lion marketing staff who now runs The Green Lion East. He introduced and owns the brand ‘The Green Lion’. In charge of Strategy and Marketing.
